> Project > Windows 11 Upgrades

Since Windows 10 reached end of support in October 2025, many clients have approached us for guidance on upgrading to the latest Windows 11 operating system. One of our long-standing engineering clients asked us to assess their aging hardware to determine which machines could support Windows 11 and which would need replacing.

We conducted a thorough review to identify systems that were under-resourced for Windows 11 and carried out the necessary upgrades on those devices. To help the client stay within budget, we developed a plan that combined new hardware purchases with the reuse of existing machines—delivering a cost-effective solution without compromising performance.

Identified Issues

  • Windows 10 reaching end of support (October 2025)
  • Performance issues trying to use Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Reduced productivity
  • User frustrations
  • Core business software affected by Windows 10 end of support

Implemented Solution

  • In place upgrades to existing compatible machines
  • Physical memory upgrades for those under resourced
  • Future proofed desktops and laptops
  • Better support and updates
  • Enhanced user experience

Outcome

The client has gone through a complete IT refresh not only with desktops and laptops but also a server and network refresh too.

This has helped the client secure their network and devices, allowing them to stay ahead with the newer technogies and grow with their business rather than holding them back with outdated systems.
